I have just put the finishing touched to my holiday DVD made from the movies and Stills I took with my C5. it was a cinch to use the "Ulead DVD movie Factory" supplied with my C5, I was able to combine both the Xacti native MP4 movie files and Jpeg stills on to a single DVD which plays on any DVD player complete with a custom menu and transition effects on the stills.
I found the C5 perfect for my family holiday, with two 1Gig SD gards and two batteries I took it every where in my pocket or bum bag, which is just why I purchased it. No more lugging the big camcorder around and a camera for me. The quality of the still pictures is outstanding and the movie files are more than acceptable quaility. The rest of the world will one day catch on but for now we can enjoy our exclusive time with our fantastic xactis.

Coudn't agree more.
I'm Very pleased with my C4, especially as I only paid £120 (including del.) for it boxed, in new condition and complete with extra battery and 512 MB card, via eBay !! I was about to purchase from Hong Kong at more than twice the price, when I spotted this one-off.
I find Media Player and Quicktime struggle on my 1GHz laptop, but VLC media player copes easily with no dropped frames etc.
The still pictures are better than our Fuji F-410, with less noise in the reds.
Why Sanyo aren't promoting it more, I can't understand.

Just wondering which buyer you bought it off for that price? Im thinking of getting a C4 rather than a C5 and was willing to pay upto £250 on ebay for it! Lee www.xacti.co.uk

I doubt he has anymore, but he did have other cameras for sale. The only reason I can think of for it going so cheap, is that the seller spelt Sanyo as "Sanio" which may have put bidders off. Try here: Harry Rees [harryrees1@tiscali.co.uk] Dave C.
