I have the "C4", which is very nice. but I bet the "C5" will be a better choice.
1. I feel they must be improving the low light focus.
2. Shutter lag time should be improved.
3. Shot to shot time should be reduced.
Who knows, but I would wait.
Regards, John

Messaged them on their bulitin board. It was difficult as I have not used French in a while. Luckily they had some English sections. The guy there replied and said it was no the C5 he used it was their camera.

Hi All,
Does anyone have any idea as to when these new C5's will be available to buy in the UK or import from elsewhere.
I was about to buy a C4 that I need from the end of the March but if this is just around the corner I have the dilema of which to get.
Also does anyone have any samples photos and videos from the C1 or C4. There are links to some on one of the other threads but most of the links are broken.
One last question can someone please confirm that the optical zoom can be used while recording video?
Cheers

Thanks for the links. May just order the C4 as I would like to take it on holiday with me next week and don't expect to be able to get a C5 until at least the start of April.
Cheers

Well I ordered a C4 in the end and it's just turned up and my initial thoughts are what a great little device it is.
I appreciate it's nott he best stills or DV camera in the world but for the package, abilities and cost what a brilliant compromise.
I'll be sure to check in on this site in future to look out for new happenings.
Cheers
